These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zarta website, web application, and services ("Service") operated by Zarta ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Zarta is a platform that transforms screen recordings into structured documentation such as SOPs, guides, and processes using AI-powered tools. You are responsible for all content you upload, submit, or generate through the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use Zarta. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Account and Access
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity on your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes.
- Upload or generate content that infringes on intellectual property.
- Upload content containing personal data of third parties without proper consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or access restricted areas of the platform.
- Use the Service to create content that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users.
Content Ownership and License
You retain all rights to the content you upload. By using Zarta, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, analyze, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded materials or generated outputs. You warrant that you have the right to upload and process all content you submit to our Service.
Subscription and Payments
6.1 Billing Terms
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy.
6.2 Price Changes
We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice via email or through the Service. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
6.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of your subscription.
6.4 Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of your initial subscription date.
Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 Data Processing
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR where applicable.
7.2 Data Retention
We retain your content and account data for the duration of your subscription and for 90 days after termination to allow for account recovery. After this period, data will be permanently deleted.

Service Level and Availability

We strive to maintain 99.5% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance windows.
8.2 Maintenance
We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice.
8.3 Data Backup
We maintain regular backups of your data but recommend you maintain your own backups of critical content.
Usage Limits and Fair Use
9.1 Service Limits
Your use of the Service is subject to usage limits based on your subscription plan, including but not limited to:
- Monthly upload limits
- Storage quotas
- Processing time limits
9.2 Fair Use
You agree to use the Service in a manner consistent with its intended purpose. Excessive use that impacts service performance for other users may result in temporary restrictions.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. Use of AI-generated content is at your own risk. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use.
Dispute Resolution
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, Poland. The arbitration shall be conducted in English.
17.3 Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
